OS and Software installation

Before making a pendrive Bootable, know your PC either GPT or MBR Partition. How ?

Option 1,2 : If you are logged in to PC i.e., acces all PC files, option3: if you are unable to boot, but have acces for BIOS

Option 1 : If you are logged in to PC i.e., acces all PC files

Run CommandPrompt as Administrator
diskpart
list disk

Observe the * symbol; Here its GPT.

Option2: windows button = ⊞

step1: ⊞ + R

step2: msinfo32

step3: search for BIOS MODE

If its UEFI then partition type is GPT; if its Legacy /CSM then partition type is MBR

Option3: do not have any OS installed; Then from BIOS menu F9 or F10 or F12 depending on PC

Step1: Turn ON your PC

Step2: immediately start pressing key F9 repeatedly until you see BIOS option { ---> if F9 doesnot work, then restart and try F10 or F12...)

Step3: use <--- or ---> arrows for navigation; then under Boot tab, observe for UEFI / Legacy / CSM

if its UEFI, then partition type is GPT

if its CSM / Legacy, then partition type is MBR

Make a SINGLE OS Bootable pendrive-w10 or w11 or ubuntu

Download - Rufus (either portable OR installer) - Link /* protable = does not get saved in C:/ drive ; insaller = gets installed into C:/ drive */

Make a Multi-OS bootable pendrive-w10+w11+Ubuntu+Kali+...

Download Ventoy - Link (for Windows, download ventoy-1.1.10-windows.zip ) ---> This may take you to SourceForge (its ok), its safe to download.
Download all required OS(es) into a folder for convenince (here i have downloaded KaliLinux, Windows11, Windows10, Ubuntu 24.5 LTS)
- Windows11 ---> Link [scroll down --->Create Windows 11 Installation Media ---> Download -->Install ---> 2nd option i.e., ISO File- ---> Finish]
- Windows10 (it is discontinued OS from Oct 2025 / Does not receive security updates from Oct2025. So better avoid; Link; Use same above process to download an ISO file.
- Kali Linux ---> Link [ x86_64 offline 4.4GB OR Kali Purple offline 4.4GB ---> click on the ↓ of each required OS]
- Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS ---> Download apprx 5.9GB

(LTS = Long Term Support]

- unzip the file
- install/double click Ventoy2Disk.exe
- Connect a Pendrive (click refresh logo in ventoy for showing lis tof pendrive from dropdown menu beside the refresh symbol)
- Options (Partition Style --> GPT or MBR, check top of this page for details)
- Partition Configuration
  - exFAT preferrable if your PC hardware is latest OR ISO file(s) are > 4GB
  - FAT32 if ISO files are <4GB)
  - NTFS for Windows installation only
- Install
- once completed, you can see a pendrive with name VENTOY
- Now drag and drop/ copy&paste all the ISO files to thsi VENTOY drive....
- after all the files are copied, Hurray... close the window... Your bootable pendrive is ready

Install Office 365/ 2025/2024

Step-0: Format your WindowsPC (ensuring that there are no microsoft related accounts logged in). IF YOU NEVER ADDED MICROSOFT ACCOUNT TO YOUR PC, THEN PROCEED WITH STEP-1.

Step1: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49117 ---> Download

Step-2: https://config.office.com/deploymentsettings

Select the following:

64bit ---> Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024- Volume Licence ---> Select Only (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) ---> Language- English(US) ---> leave all as it is, scroll down to export option ---> Export ---> Office Open XML format ---> OK ---> I accept (select the box) ---> CONFIGURATION (its default...no need to select it) ---> Export

Step-3:

CNow You have two files:

officedeploymenttool_19426-20170
Configuration

Create a new folder in the name OFFICE2025 in Downloads folder/ any folder of your preference.
move the configuaration file (Configuration.xml) to this new folder "OFFICE2025"
Run the file officedeploymenttool_19426-20170
- select the box
- ok
- select the folder Downloads-->OFFICE2025
- install / continue
Delete the newly created configuration file configuration-Office365-x64

Step-4:

copy the path of the folder

for me it is C:\Users\krish\Downloads\OFFICE2025

type cd C:\Users\krish\Downloads\OFFICE2025
setup.exe/configure configuration.xml

this opens a pop-up of Office365 installation, once all Word, Excel, Powerpoint are installed automatically..... You can click CLOSE button.

Thats all.... You have got OFFICE Software.🥳
